Sui (SUI) Price Prediction 2026-2030 as Unlocks Slow and Usage Falls

$0.90. That is where SUI trades on 1 November 2026, about 83% below its $5.35 all-time high from January 2025 and 62% lower than a year ago, per CoinGecko. Pages ranking for this search tend to either grow today's price by a flat few percent a year or quote 2030 targets of $12 to $23 without saying what those numbers mean. At the roughly 4.87 billion SUI we estimate will circulate by the end of 2030, $12 is a market cap near $58 billion and $23 is about $112 billion, twice what Solana is worth today. Ask any target for the market cap it implies.

The usual worry about SUI is supply. Most of its 10 billion tokens started out locked and are released on a schedule, and each release (an unlock) dilutes existing holders by adding coins to the market. On the Sui Foundation's own token schedule projection, the heaviest dilution is already behind the token. The problem that remains is usage. Monthly trading on Sui's decentralised exchanges is down about 95% from a year ago, and the value deposited in its apps has fallen even after allowing for SUI's lower price.

The short answer first. On the scenario math below, SUI's base case for the end of 2030 is $1.20 to $2.20, a market cap of about $6 billion to $11 billion. That case needs SUI to hold, or modestly rebuild, its share of Bitcoin's market cap (SUI's market value as a percentage of Bitcoin's) while Bitcoin climbs to $110,000 to $150,000. The bull case, $4.50 to $7.00, needs Bitcoin near $200,000 and SUI back at the roughly 0.5% share it averaged through 2025, then somewhat above it. The bear case, $0.30 to $0.60, is a token that keeps losing ground as its ecosystem shrinks. Every range is a bound for thinking, not a target.

SUI price prediction at a glance

Year end Bear Base Bull
2026 $0.60 to $0.75 $0.80 to $1.05 $1.20 to $1.40
2027 $0.45 to $0.70 $0.85 to $1.40 $2.00 to $3.00
2028 $0.40 to $0.65 $1.00 to $1.70 $2.50 to $4.00
2029 $0.35 to $0.60 $1.10 to $2.00 $3.50 to $5.50
2030 $0.30 to $0.60 $1.20 to $2.20 $4.50 to $7.00

The gaps between columns are mixed outcomes, not impossible ones. SUI back at its 2025 average share of about 0.5% with base-case Bitcoin at $130,000, for example, lands around $2.75 in 2030.

Each price comes from two inputs you can argue with. One is Bitcoin's market cap, its price times the roughly 20 million BTC in existence. The other is SUI's share of it. Bitcoin at $100,000 is a market cap of about $2 trillion, a 0.30% share of that is about $6 billion, and $6 billion divided by the 4.37 billion SUI projected for the end of 2027 gives about $1.39. SUI's share was about 0.82% at the January 2025 peak, 0.40% a year ago and 0.24% today (CoinGecko and Coin Metrics data, checked 1 November 2026). The base case holds it between roughly 0.23% and 0.35%, the bull case lifts it to 0.43% or more by 2027 and 0.59% to 0.75% by 2030, and the bear case lets it fall toward 0.1%. Circulating supply rises every year as locked tokens are released, which the unlock section below walks through. The Bitcoin ranges match our Litecoin forecast, so the two can be compared directly.

Where SUI stands in November 2026

Metric Value
Price ~$0.90
Market cap ~$3.72 billion, rank 30
Fully diluted value (price x all 10 billion SUI, released or not) ~$9.0 billion
All-time high $5.35 (4 January 2025)
Distance from ATH ~83% below
30-day move Down ~23%
12-month move Down ~62%
24-hour trading volume ~$172 million
Circulating supply ~4.12 billion of a 10 billion cap (41%)
SUI market cap as a share of Bitcoin's ~0.24%

Market data from CoinGecko, checked 1 November 2026.

The 30-day figure hides a sharp swing. On CoinGecko's daily data SUI climbed from $0.69 on 16 September to $1.26 on 28 September, a gain of about 84% in twelve days, held near $1.20 into early October and has since given back nearly two thirds of that gain. The 12-month low came on 19 August at about $0.65. A coin that can nearly double in two weeks and then surrender most of it within weeks is the context for every range below, and the reason the year-end bands are wide.

What the unlock schedule says now

Sui launched its mainnet in May 2023 with about 5% of the 10 billion SUI in circulation, per the Foundation's token schedule page. The rest is released over time, and the Foundation publishes its month-by-month projection through a public circulation API. Its figure for October 2026, 4.118 billion SUI, is the same number CoinGecko uses for circulating supply.

Month Circulating SUI Share of 10 billion Growth over the prior 12 months
December 2024 2.93 billion 29% n/a
December 2025 3.74 billion 37% +28%
December 2026 4.16 billion 42% +11%
December 2027 4.37 billion 44% +5%
December 2028 4.55 billion 46% +4%
December 2029 4.72 billion 47% +4%
May 2030, the last month published 4.78 billion 48%

The step that matters happened in June 2026. Until May, the schedule released about 52 to 55 million SUI a month. From June it dropped to about 22 million to 24 million, roughly $20 million a month at today's price, and it keeps tapering to about 13 million a month by 2030. In 2025 circulating supply grew by about 28%, so SUI's market cap had to grow 28% just to keep the price where it was. On the Foundation's projection the same hurdle is about 5% in 2027.

The catch is that this projection covers less than half the supply. By May 2030 it reaches only about 48% of the 10 billion cap, and the remaining 5.2 billion or so has no release date. It is largely the Community Reserve, which the Foundation manages for grants, validator delegation and other programs, and the same page says release timing "will revolve around how the Sui Foundation deploys its token allocation". DefiLlama's unlock tracker treats every allocation, the Community Reserve included, as vesting on a fixed line. It puts about 7.3 billion SUI unlocked by October 2026 and about 138 million more each month, against the Foundation's 4.1 billion circulating and about 21 million a month. The gap of roughly 3.1 billion SUI is tokens that have finished vesting but that the Foundation does not count as circulating, mostly because it still holds them. Pages that price heavy dilution through 2030 are usually using that unlock count, and if the Foundation started deploying its reserve faster, they would be right.

Our scenarios use the Foundation's projection and assume releases continue at about 13 million a month after May 2030, which gives our estimate of roughly 4.87 billion SUI by the end of 2030. Faster releases would mean every price in the tables needs a bigger market cap to hold.

What the network numbers say

The supply picture improved. The usage picture went the other way, and usage matters for the price because activity is what creates demand for SUI. Transaction fees are paid in SUI, apps on the chain take it as collateral, and holders stake it to earn rewards.

On DefiLlama data checked 1 November 2026, monthly trading on Sui's decentralised exchanges (DEXs) fell about 95% over the year, from $22.2 billion in October 2025, Sui's record month, to about $1.0 billion in October 2026. The value deposited in Sui's apps, known as total value locked or TVL, fell about 73% to $461 million, from $1.70 billion a year ago and a peak of $2.64 billion on 9 October 2025. Part of that is SUI's own price, since much of the deposited money is SUI, but counted in SUI rather than dollars TVL still fell about 28%. Stablecoins on the chain roughly halved, to about $450 million from about $900 million a year ago.

Revenue is small next to the valuation, partly by design. Sui cut its base transaction fee (the reference gas price) roughly fivefold in April 2026 and made transfers of supported stablecoins free in May, betting that cheaper use grows stablecoin balances and that the interest earned on the assets backing those stablecoins replaces fees. The Foundation's buybacks page puts total on-chain revenue, gas fees plus that stablecoin yield, at about $407,000 over the 30 days to 1 November 2026, a figure the page marks as partly estimated. That is roughly $4 million to $5 million a year depending on the window, most of it stablecoin yield rather than gas. Against a $3.7 billion market cap it comes to roughly 750 to 900 times revenue, so buyers are paying for growth they expect, not for today's income.

That yield now funds a daily buyback. The Foundation buys SUI on the open market, about 8,000 tokens a day in late October and around 1 million SUI so far in 2026, and per its own FAQ the bought SUI goes back to the ecosystem rather than being destroyed, so it can return to circulation later. At that pace buybacks absorb under 2% of the roughly 212 million SUI the schedule releases in 2027. It is a useful signal of intent, not yet a force on the price.

Reliability and the Cetus freeze

Two risks belong to Sui specifically rather than to layer 1 (base blockchain) tokens in general. The first is uptime. Sui's mainnet halted for about two and a half hours in November 2024, for about six hours on 14 January 2026 per Sui's own review, and three more times on 28 and 29 May 2026, together roughly 16 hours, after a software release introduced bugs. Per Sui's incident review, no user funds were at risk and no completed transactions were undone, but for a chain that pitches itself for payments and institutional finance, repeated halts are the risk buyers will price first.

The second is governance. On 22 May 2025 an attacker drained about $223 million from Cetus, a major DEX on Sui, by exploiting a flaw in its code. Validators, the operators who run the network, froze about $162 million of it by ignoring transactions from the attacker's addresses, per The Block. An on-chain vote then passed with validators representing 90.9% of stake in favour, per the Sui Foundation's vote notice, so the frozen funds could be moved to a wallet controlled jointly by several parties and held in trust for users under Cetus's recovery plan. The episode showed that Sui's validators can coordinate to freeze specific addresses, a capability critics read as a weak point in its decentralisation and supporters read as a working safety net.

What the bull case gets right

The bull case has more evidence behind it than the price suggests. Start with supply. On the Foundation's projection the heaviest release phase ended in May 2026, and annual supply growth falls from 28% in 2025 to about 5% in 2027. In dollars, the monthly release was worth $160 million to $370 million at the prices of the day from January to October 2025, on Coin Metrics prices and the Foundation's supply data, and it is about $20 million now. Every dollar of new demand does more to the price than it did a year ago. That shift happened during a sell-off, so it has not been tested in a rising market yet.

Access has widened sharply. Canary and Grayscale launched the first US spot SUI ETFs, exchange-traded funds that hold real SUI, on 18 February 2026, both with staking built in, per The Block, and 21Shares followed with TSUI on Nasdaq on 24 February, per the Sui Foundation. CME Group's SUI futures, the regulated contracts large institutions use to hedge or take positions, began trading in May, per its press release. Nasdaq-listed SUI Group, a company that holds SUI as its main treasury asset, reported 109.1 million SUI on 3 August, about 2.7% of circulating supply, in its second quarter results, though its shares then traded at about 0.72 times the value of its holdings, which makes raising money to buy more harder. The flows are small so far, with Canary's fund at about $26 million of net assets on 30 October per its fund page, but the plumbing for institutional demand is now in place.

The technology case is real too. Sui was built by Mysten Labs, founded by veterans of Meta's Novi crypto research team, per CoinDesk, around the Move programming language and a design that processes unrelated transactions in parallel. The buybacks page counts about 790,000 addresses holding stablecoins on Sui. The next test is Hashi, a system that lets institutions borrow against Bitcoin held in a vault on the Bitcoin network itself. Sui announced on 8 October that Hashi's mainnet would roll out in phases from later that month, with more than $500 million in capital commitments from over 20 launch partners, including the US crypto bank Anchorage Digital.

Finally, valuation has reset. SUI's market cap is now about $3.7 billion, close to the $3.9 billion of Avalanche, a token our AVAX forecast also finds far below its peak, and its share of Bitcoin's market cap has fallen by about 70% from the 2025 peak. SUI has climbed from a low base before. Its share rose from about 0.13% in early August 2024 to 0.82% five months later. A return to last November's 0.40% share with Bitcoin at $100,000 would already put SUI near $1.85 at 2027's supply, the top of our base range. The bull column asks for more, a share back at the roughly 0.5% SUI averaged through 2025 and somewhat above it by 2030, carried through a full Bitcoin cycle. It does not need SUI to become the next Solana.

SUI price prediction 2026 (the remaining months)

With two months left, the setup is a coin that has given back most of its September rally and sits about 40% above its August low. Circulating supply at year end is about 4.16 billion SUI.

Scenario Range at year end 2026 Implied market cap Inputs
Bull $1.20 to $1.40 $5.0B to $5.8B BTC $95K to $105K, SUI's share of Bitcoin's market cap rises to 0.26% to 0.28%, a retest of the late-September high of $1.26
Base $0.80 to $1.05 $3.3B to $4.4B BTC $72K to $90K, share near today's 0.23% to 0.24%
Bear $0.60 to $0.75 $2.5B to $3.1B BTC $60K to $70K, share slips to 0.21% to 0.22%, the August low retested

SUI price prediction 2027

2027 is the first full year at the lower release pace, with about 212 million SUI added for a year-end supply near 4.37 billion. It is also the first full year of Hashi and the spot ETFs, so the gap between the bull and base rows is mostly a question of whether either one draws real money.

Scenario Range at year end 2027 Implied market cap Inputs
Bull $2.00 to $3.00 $8.7B to $13.1B BTC $100K to $125K, share recovers to 0.43% to 0.52%, back above its November 2025 level, as Hashi and ETF inflows restore TVL
Base $0.85 to $1.40 $3.7B to $6.1B BTC $80K to $100K, share 0.23% to 0.30%, usage stabilises without a strong rebound
Bear $0.45 to $0.70 $2.0B to $3.1B BTC $55K to $70K, share 0.18% to 0.22% as DeFi activity keeps leaking away

SUI price prediction 2028

Supply reaches about 4.55 billion SUI by the end of 2028, growth of roughly 4% for the year. Bitcoin's next halving, the scheduled cut in new Bitcoin issuance roughly every four years, is expected in the spring, which is why the Bitcoin ranges widen.

Scenario Range at year end 2028 Implied market cap Inputs
Bull $2.50 to $4.00 $11.4B to $18.2B BTC $120K to $150K, share 0.46% to 0.59%, Sui established as a settlement chain for stablecoins and Bitcoin collateral
Base $1.00 to $1.70 $4.6B to $7.7B BTC $90K to $130K, share 0.25% to 0.29%, SUI roughly keeps pace with Bitcoin
Bear $0.40 to $0.65 $1.8B to $3.0B BTC $55K to $85K, share 0.16% to 0.17%, liquidity concentrates on larger chains

SUI price prediction 2029

If Bitcoin keeps its four-year rhythm, which our Bitcoin cycle guide walks through, 2029 is where its next cycle peak would most likely land, and altcoins tend to make their biggest moves late in that phase. Supply is about 4.72 billion SUI.

Scenario Range at year end 2029 Implied market cap Inputs
Bull $3.50 to $5.50 $16.5B to $26.0B BTC $150K to $200K, share 0.54% to 0.63%, a late-cycle rotation into large layer 1 tokens
Base $1.10 to $2.00 $5.2B to $9.4B BTC $100K to $140K, share 0.25% to 0.33%
Bear $0.35 to $0.60 $1.7B to $2.8B BTC $60K to $100K, share 0.13% to 0.14%, the decline against Bitcoin continues at a slower pace

SUI price prediction 2030

A new all-time high is arithmetic before it is narrative. At our estimate of about 4.87 billion SUI in circulation, $5.35 means a market cap near $26 billion, seven times today's and far above the roughly $16 billion SUI reached at its 2025 peak, when fewer than 3.1 billion tokens were circulating. With Bitcoin at $200,000, $26 billion is a share of about 0.63%, below the 0.82% of January 2025 and about where SUI stood at its May and July 2025 highs.

Scenario Range at year end 2030 Implied market cap Inputs
Bull $4.50 to $7.00 $21.9B to $34.1B BTC $180K to $220K, share 0.59% to 0.75%, close to the peak weight of January 2025
Base $1.20 to $2.20 $5.8B to $10.7B BTC $110K to $150K, share 0.26% to 0.35%
Bear $0.30 to $0.60 $1.5B to $2.9B BTC $80K to $150K, share falls to about 0.09%, the slide since January 2025 continuing at less than half its pace

Fully diluted value, the price times all 10 billion SUI including tokens not yet released, runs the same check from the other end. At the base case's 2030 prices it would be $12 billion to $22 billion, which is why the Community Reserve's timing matters.

What the forecast hinges on

Four questions decide which column happens. Does Sui's usage recover, so that DEX volume, TVL and stablecoin balances start rising again rather than drifting lower? Does Hashi turn its $500 million of commitments into Bitcoin collateral that stays and earns, the clearest route to the bull column? Does the Foundation keep releases near its published projection, or start deploying its reserve faster? And does Bitcoin deliver the cycle every altcoin scenario quietly assumes? A reliability incident or a large exploit would hit the base case faster than any unlock.

If you weigh SUI against other assets, our monthly roundup of the coins we track applies the same discipline across the market. This is market analysis, not financial advice.

Holding SUI through the wait

EarnPark does not currently offer a SUI strategy, and nothing in this piece is a reason to swap out of it. For the coins you keep, native staking is the natural route. It earns around 1.4% to 1.5% a year at the network level as of October 2026, keeps your coins in your own wallet, and unstaking is immediate per the current Sui docs, as our SUI staking guide explains. Liquid staking gives you a tradable token for your staked SUI that other apps accept, at the cost of smart contract risk, the chance that a bug in that code loses funds. Our liquid staking explainer covers it, and our comparison of the best staking platforms puts SUI next to other networks.

The cash side of a plan is a separate decision. Holders who trim into rallies or keep money ready for dips spend time in stablecoins or Bitcoin between moves. EarnPark tags each strategy with a Risk Label that names the kind of risk it takes. For cash you may want back on short notice, two USDT options withdraw instantly as of November 2026. USDT DeFi pays 10% from hedged trading of price gaps between exchanges (Cross-Venue) and charges 0.30% plus $3.2 to withdraw. USDT Liquidity Providing pays 5% from on-chain lending (On-Chain) and charges a flat $2. The top published USDT rate, up to 15%, comes from USDT Alpha Vault, labelled Market-Exposed because its returns move with the market and can be negative. Its withdrawals settle monthly, so it suits money you will not need for the next dip. How safe the stablecoin underneath is, our stablecoin safety guide works through.

On BTC, the yardstick this forecast measures SUI against, the published rate is up to 10% as of November 2026, set by BTC Alpha Vault, also Market-Exposed. It holds roughly half BTC and half stablecoins and rebalances, so in a strong rally it gives up part of the upside versus simply holding Bitcoin, and in a fall it loses less. Its withdrawals also settle monthly. Some platforms reserve their top rate for holders of their own token. These published rates need no PARK, EarnPark's own token. Yield strategies carry their own risks, results can be negative and there is no deposit insurance, as the platform's risk statement sets out, so this applies only to money you have separately decided to place with a platform that holds your coins for you.

Whether you time the swings or dollar-cost average through them, the waiting money sits somewhere. If that fits your plan, you can Start earning on the stablecoin or BTC side of the portfolio.

FAQ

What is the future of Sui crypto?

Sui's future as a network rests on whether usage recovers. Spot ETFs, CME futures and the Hashi Bitcoin collateral system give it institutional access that few younger layer 1 chains have, and on the Sui Foundation's own projection annual supply growth falls to about 5% in 2027. Against that, monthly trading on Sui's decentralised exchanges is down about 95% from a year ago, the value deposited in its apps (TVL) is down about 73% in dollars and about 28% even after adjusting for SUI's lower price, and the chain halted several times in 2026. On our scenario math the 2030 base case is $1.20 to $2.20.

Can SUI reach $10?

SUI at $10 would take a market cap of about $49 billion at the roughly 4.87 billion SUI we estimate for the end of 2030, about 13 times its value on 1 November 2026 and not far below Solana's $56 billion today. That sits above $7.00, the top of our strongest 2030 scenario. It would need Bitcoin around $290,000 with SUI back at its January 2025 peak share of Bitcoin's market cap, or a share well above that peak with Bitcoin at $200,000.

Can SUI reach a new all-time high by 2030?

A new SUI high above $5.35 needs a market cap of about $26 billion at our estimate of 2030 supply, because about 60% more tokens will be circulating than at the January 2025 peak. That is inside our 2030 bull range of $4.50 to $7.00 and outside the base range. It requires Bitcoin near $200,000 and SUI's share of Bitcoin's market cap back at about 0.63%, roughly its May and July 2025 highs.

What will SUI be worth in 2030?

On our scenario math, SUI ends 2030 anywhere from about $0.30 to $7.00, with a base case of $1.20 to $2.20. The spread comes mostly from two inputs, Bitcoin's price and SUI's share of Bitcoin's market cap. Any single 2030 number hides the two assumptions behind it, plus our supply estimate of about 4.87 billion SUI.

Who are the founders of SUI?

Sui was developed by Mysten Labs, founded by veterans of Meta's Novi crypto research team. The Mysten Labs site lists Evan Cheng as chief executive alongside co-founders Adeniyi Abiodun, Kostas Chalkias and George Danezis. The network itself is supported by the separate Sui Foundation, which manages the Community Reserve of SUI tokens.

What is SUI crypto used for?

SUI pays transaction fees on the Sui network and is staked to validators to secure it, and staked SUI carries weight in on-chain votes such as the 2025 Cetus recovery. Sui's own pitch centres on payments, stablecoins and Bitcoin finance through Hashi, with free transfers of supported stablecoins since May 2026.
