Ondo (ONDO) Price Prediction 2026-2030 (the Unlock Math)

$0.41. That is where ONDO traded on 25 October 2026, about 81% below its December 2024 peak, while the products carrying the Ondo name kept growing. USDY, Ondo's tokenized Treasury product, held $2.37 billion and its tokenized stocks platform passed $1 billion earlier this year. The gap between a growing business and a falling token is half the forecasting problem. The other half is a supply schedule that releases more than half of all ONDO by January 2029, and the formula-driven forecast pages at the top of this search mostly skip both.

Here is where ONDO stands in late October 2026, what each catalyst actually changed, and scenario ranges for 2026 through 2030 built from the token's real supply path and the market cap each price implies. The short answer is a 2030 base case of $0.20 to $0.60, with anything higher depending on whether ONDO ever earns a share of Ondo's revenue. The ranges are bounds for thinking, not forecasts of exact prices.

Year end Bear Base Bull
2026 $0.22 to $0.30 $0.32 to $0.48 $0.50 to $0.60
2027 $0.13 to $0.22 $0.30 to $0.50 $0.70 to $1.00
2028 $0.10 to $0.20 $0.20 to $0.55 $1.00 to $1.50
2029 (interpolated) Under $0.20 $0.20 to $0.58 $1.30 to $2.00
2030 Under $0.20 $0.20 to $0.60 $1.60 to $2.50

Each range is where we would expect ONDO to sit at the end of that year under that scenario. The 2029 row is interpolated, the midpoint of the 2028 and 2030 rows.

Market data from CoinGecko, checked 25 October 2026. Market cap counts only the tokens already trading, while fully diluted value (FDV) prices all 10 billion, including those still locked. The last twelve months swung hard. ONDO bottomed near $0.24 in mid-April, rallied to about $0.59 by 28 September, then lost roughly a third of its value in four weeks.

What the ONDO token actually is

In this piece, Ondo means the company and its products, and ONDO means the token. ONDO is a governance token, meaning its rights are votes. Ondo's own docs describe it as the governance token for the Ondo DAO, the token holders' collective that votes on proposals, and for Flux Finance, a lending protocol in the same ecosystem, with a supply of 10 billion and no planned inflation. Voting is the full list of rights. Holding ONDO does not give you a share of USDY, OUSG or tokenized stock fees, and an Allium valuation report from May 2026 noted that ONDO captures zero protocol cash flow today. USDY was paying 3.75% APY when we checked Ondo's USDY page on 25 October 2026, and none of the fees Ondo earns running it reach ONDO holders.

The products are a separate thing. USDY is the tokenized Treasury note for non-US investors, covered in our USDY explainer. OUSG is Ondo's Treasury fund token for institutional investors. Ondo Stocks, formerly Ondo Global Markets, issues tokenized stocks and ETFs. This page stays on the token.

That split is the value accrual gap. Value accrual means a token holder receives part of the business's income, through a fee share, buybacks or staking rewards, and ONDO has none of these today. So Ondo can win the tokenization race and ONDO can still drift lower, because the business and the token are linked only through sentiment and governance rights the DAO has seldom used. The last on-chain vote listed on the DAO's governance page is FIP-08 from January 2024, the proposal that made ONDO transferable for the first time and set its unlock schedule.

The unlock math in one table

Supply is the other half of the problem. About half of all ONDO is still locked, and it is released in one large block each January, a cliff unlock, rather than a little each day. Ondo's own FIP-08 proposal set those releases at 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 months after the first unlock on 18 January 2024. Per DefiLlama, the next cliff in mid-January 2027 releases about 1.71 billion ONDO, equal to 35% of today's circulating supply in a single day. Three cliffs of that size remain, and Tokenomics.com puts the final one on 18 January 2029.

After the unlock in Circulating supply Price if market cap stays at $1.97 billion
Today ~4.87 billion $0.41
January 2027 ~6.58 billion ~$0.30
January 2028 ~8.29 billion ~$0.24
January 2029 10 billion ~$0.20

The last column is a reference line, not a forecast. It shows where the larger float would put the price if the market valued ONDO at exactly today's $1.97 billion, which works out to about $0.20 once all 10 billion tokens are out. Unlocked is not the same as sold. Of the January 2027 tranche, about 792 million ONDO goes to ecosystem growth and 660 million to protocol development, buckets whose use is set by Ondo and its foundation, and only about 258 million, roughly $105 million at today's price, goes to private sale investors who are free to sell once it lands. So the real selling pressure per cliff sits somewhere between that $105 million and the full value of about $700 million, and every price above the reference line needs buyers for whatever share actually reaches the market.

The previous cliff, in January 2026, is a useful reference. ONDO fell about a fifth in the four days before that unlock, traded around $0.385 on the day, bounced about 17% within a week and then slid to about $0.24 by mid-April, per CoinGecko's price history. Bitcoin fell roughly a quarter over the same stretch while ONDO fell about 37%, so the unlock coincided with underperformance rather than causing a clean break, and selling ahead of the date appears to have mattered as much as selling after it.

The catalyst reality check

A US spot ETF is the catalyst most pages lead with. 21Shares filed a registration statement for a 21Shares Ondo ETF on 22 July 2025 and amended it on 6 February 2026, per SEC EDGAR. No later filing appears there, and the product is not trading in the US. Our HBAR forecast is the cautionary tale here, since a live HBAR ETF drew very little money. Approval would widen access, but access alone did not create much demand for HBAR.

The largest regulatory tail risk is gone. On 8 December 2025 the SEC closed a confidential investigation into Ondo without charges, per CoinDesk, and the probe had looked at whether ONDO itself was a security. The closure did not add a buyer.

Product growth is real. Ondo Stocks passed $1 billion in total value locked on 11 May 2026, per Ondo's announcement, about eight months after launch. On 24 September 2026 Ondo launched Intelligent Portfolios, onchain portfolio tokens based on strategies developed by BlackRock, per its press release. ONDO ran to its highest price in more than ten months four days later and then gave the move back, which fits a pattern of product news moving the token briefly without creating lasting demand for it.

The infrastructure story changed shape. Ondo Chain, the layer 1 blockchain announced in 2025, became the Ondo Network on 27 July 2026. It runs applications inside tamper-resistant hardware rather than as a conventional chain, and its first app is Ondo Perps, a perpetual futures platform. The announcement does not mention the ONDO token at all, and the original Ondo Chain plan described transaction fees (gas) paid in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), so the idea of ONDO as a gas token has no chain to run on today.

The fee switch, a rule that sends part of protocol revenue to the token, is the catalyst that would actually change the token's economics, and it is the least advanced. On 18 June 2026 a community member opened a temperature check, an informal poll of support before any formal vote. It proposes that 20% of Ondo's net protocol revenue, later rising to 40%, fund automatic market purchases of ONDO that are then destroyed (a buyback and burn), without saying which products' revenue it covers. It is a discussion thread, not a binding proposal. Allium's May report treated a vote in the second half of 2026 as the token's main catalyst, but as of 25 October 2026 no on-chain proposal exists.

ONDO price prediction 2026 (the remaining months)

Just over two months of 2026 remain and the January cliff is under three months away, in a market that has already reversed the September rally. The market cap column multiplies each range by that year's circulating supply.

Scenario Range into year-end 2026 Implied market cap (at 4.87B tokens) Driver
Bull $0.50 to $0.60 $2.4 to $2.9 billion Altcoins recover, the September high is retested on product news
Base $0.32 to $0.48 $1.6 to $2.3 billion Range trading, holders hedge ahead of the January unlock
Bear $0.22 to $0.30 $1.1 to $1.5 billion Market weakness resumes and the April low is revisited

ONDO price prediction 2027

Supply rises to about 6.58 billion in January, so every price here carries a third more tokens than today.

Scenario 2027 range Implied market cap (at 6.58B tokens) Driver
Bull $0.70 to $1.00 $4.6 to $6.6 billion A fee switch passes and the cycle turns up, with an ETF as a secondary tailwind
Base $0.30 to $0.50 $2.0 to $3.3 billion Products keep growing, the token stays governance only
Bear $0.13 to $0.22 $0.9 to $1.4 billion The unlock is sold into a weak market with no new demand

ONDO price prediction 2028

Supply reaches about 8.29 billion after the January 2028 unlock, 70% more than today.

Scenario 2028 range Implied market cap (at 8.29B tokens) Driver
Bull $1.00 to $1.50 $8.3 to $12.4 billion Holders earn a real share of revenue and tokenization keeps compounding
Base $0.20 to $0.55 $1.7 to $4.6 billion Governance only, price tracks the wider tokenized-assets trade
Bear $0.10 to $0.20 $0.8 to $1.7 billion Two years of unlocks outrun demand, rivals take share

Every base row from 2027 on contains the reference price from the unlock table, the case where the market values ONDO exactly as it does today. The top of each base row assumes the token keeps a sentiment link to a growing sector, not a cash one.

ONDO price prediction 2029 and 2030

The January 2029 unlock completes the schedule, so 2029 and 2030 both price all 10 billion tokens, and the summary table puts 2029 between the 2028 and 2030 rows. A return to the $2.14 all-time high means a $21.4 billion market cap, about five times today's fully diluted value. Some pages ranking for this search float $10 by 2030, which would mean a $100 billion valuation, roughly a third of Ethereum's entire market cap today and roughly 29 times the $3.43 billion in total assets across Ondo's products that Allium counted in May 2026.

Scenario 2030 range Implied market cap (at 10B tokens) Driver
Bull $1.60 to $2.50 $16 to $25 billion ONDO gains a share of revenue, Ondo a leading issuer of tokenized assets in a strong cycle
Base $0.20 to $0.60 $2 to $6 billion Ondo established but ONDO still governance only, from today's market cap to triple it
Bear Under $0.20 Under $2 billion The business thrives while the token never gains a claim on it

For scale, 10,000 ONDO, worth about $4,060 today, would be worth $2,000 to $6,000 in the 2030 base case, $16,000 to $25,000 in the bull case and under $2,000 in the bear case.

What the forecast hinges on

The bull case deserves a fair hearing. Ondo already runs a tokenized Treasury product holding $2.37 billion and a tokenized stocks platform that passed $1 billion in about eight months. A buyback proposal is on the forum, an ETF registration is filed, and the September run showed the token still reacts to product news. If the DAO switches on even a modest revenue share, ONDO stops being a pure sentiment asset and the bull rows stop looking generous.

Three questions decide which row happens. Does the DAO ever give ONDO a claim on revenue, through a fee switch, buybacks or staking rewards, or does value stay with the Ondo companies that run the products? How much of each 1.7 billion token cliff is actually sold, and can buyers absorb it? And does the next cycle deliver the risk appetite every bull row above quietly assumes? Each has a signal worth watching. The first is whether the fee switch thread reaches an on-chain vote, the second is how ONDO trades against the roughly $0.30 reference line after the mid-January 2027 unlock, and the third will show up in Bitcoin well before it shows up in ONDO.

Tokenized Treasuries are a crowded field, as our pieces on BlackRock's BUIDL and OpenEden show, and our Arbitrum prediction covers another governance token with the same question of whether usage reaches the token. Treat the tables as a map of outcomes, not targets. This is market analysis, not financial advice.

Holding through the wait

A multi-year ONDO thesis means holding through three more unlocks, the last in January 2029, and whatever the DAO decides about revenue. EarnPark does not offer an ONDO strategy, so there is no yield option here for the ONDO itself.

Holders who read the unlock math as a reason to wait rather than add ahead of each January cliff may keep stablecoins on the side, and money you might want to move within weeks needs a strategy you can leave quickly. Each EarnPark strategy carries a Risk Label, a tag for the kind of risk it takes. Per our 18 October 2026 strategy data, the Cross-Venue DeFi strategies on USDT and USDC, which run cross-exchange arbitrage, pay up to 10% APY and withdraw instantly for an exit fee. The higher published USDT rate of up to 15% as of October 2026 comes from the Market-Exposed Alpha Vault, which holds roughly half its value in crypto and settles withdrawals monthly, so it suits money with no near-term job. These are trading-strategy returns, not Treasury income, and they require zero PARK, the platform's native token, per our rate policy. Platform and strategy risks are set out in the risk statement. If part of your stablecoins is already set aside for a custodial strategy, Start earning shows current rates, Risk Labels and withdrawal terms before you commit.

FAQ

Can ONDO reach $10?

At the full 10 billion supply, $10 means a $100 billion market cap, about 25 times today's fully diluted value and roughly a third of Ethereum's current valuation. No scenario here gets near it by 2030, because even a strong outcome for Ondo's products would not obviously flow to a token that earns no fees today.

What will ONDO be worth in 5 years?

Our tables run to 2030, by which point all 10 billion tokens are unlocked. The base case for 2030 is $0.20 to $0.60, a $2 to $6 billion valuation. The bull case of $1.60 to $2.50 depends on ONDO gaining a real claim on revenue, while the bear case sits under $0.20.

What is the expected price of ONDO in 2030?

There is no reliable expected price, only ranges with assumptions attached. Our base case for 2030 is $0.20 to $0.60. The low end is today's $1.97 billion market cap spread across all 10 billion tokens, and the top end needs about three times today's valuation. Pages quoting a single 2030 target rarely say what market cap or supply it assumes.

Is ONDO still a good investment?

It is a bet on Ondo's products growing and on the DAO eventually giving the token a share of that growth, which has not happened yet. About 51% of the supply is still to unlock by January 2029. Today it trades as a governance token, so its price follows sentiment and supply more than Ondo's revenue.

When is the next ONDO unlock?

The next unlock is in mid-January 2027, when about 1.71 billion ONDO is released to ecosystem growth, protocol development and private sale investors, per DefiLlama. Two more unlocks of similar size follow in January 2028 and January 2029, after which the 10 billion supply is fully released.

Does holding ONDO earn a share of Ondo's revenue?

Holding ONDO does not currently earn any share of Ondo's revenue. ONDO is a governance token, and Allium's May 2026 report found it captures zero protocol cash flow. A community temperature check from June 2026 proposed using part of protocol revenue for buybacks, but as of late October 2026 it has not reached a binding vote.
