Risks, mistakes and fixes

Six episodes, written down by us rather than found in someone else’s thread. Two are strategy risks that materialised, two are mistakes we made, and two are changes we shipped, one of them before anyone asked. Nothing here is a security failure, every episode is dated, and every one links to where we said it publicly at the time.

No hacks. And no mixing risk with error.

Every platform breaks something eventually. The difference is whether you hear it from the company or find it yourself, six months later, in someone else’s thread. We would rather write ours down.

Start with the part that matters most. Nothing on this page is a security failure. No hack, no drained wallet, no compromised account, no user funds taken. That has never happened to us.

The rest of this page sorts what did happen into three honest categories. A risk that materialised is not a mistake: high-risk strategies carry that label precisely because years like these happen, and what deserves judging is how we behaved when they did. A mistake is ours, full stop. And a change is something we rebuilt, either because users pushed us or because we did not like our own numbers. Mixing the three up would flatter us in one direction and slander us in the other, so we don’t.

When strategy risk materialised

High risk was on the label before these happened. Judge how we behaved when it did.

October 2025

The Delta Safe loss

A user wrote that they had lost a large part of a Delta Safe BTC position in the market event of 10 and 11 October, that support had not helped, and that an automated email congratulating them on a PARK purchase arrived right after the loss. The loss itself was the strategy’s stated risk materialising: Delta Safe sat in the high-risk group, and the crash was market-wide. The support silence and the tone-deaf email, though, were ours.

We answered in public. We halted the strategy and moved it towards delisting, and we offered affected users PARK equivalent to their loss, under the pricing and unlock terms set out in that reply. We also changed the automated email flow, because that message at that moment was wrong twice over.

Worth being straight about one thing. The compensation was offered in PARK, not cash, and that reply is the record of what we committed to.

April 2025 to January 2026

Algo Trend had a bad year

This is what a risk profile looks like when it does exactly what the label says. Algo Trend V1 was built for markets that trend, and 2025 mostly refused to. Drawdowns ran long, users told us they were hard to sit through, and we agreed with them.

The fix was a rebuild rather than a tweak. We went from one trading system to three, each meant for a different market state, and explained the reasoning in the V2 recap. When the year closed badly anyway, we published the 2025 performance report with the negative numbers in it, the conditions behind them, and lower expectations for what the strategy should be trusted to do.

What we got wrong

Plain mistakes, ours, with the record of the fix.

August 2025 to July 2026

The Proof of Funds link that went nowhere

In August 2025 someone pointed out that our Proof of Funds link led nowhere. They were right. We said so publicly: the section was still being built and the materials were coming.

They came. Proof of Reserves now publishes monthly snapshots, exchange account statements, and on-chain wallet addresses you can paste straight into a block explorer. This is the one case on this page where you do not have to take our word for anything.

June 2025

A token sale round that missed

Tier 2 of the PARK sale raised $106,995 against a $250K target. We could have reported the round that worked and stayed quiet about this one.

Instead we published what went wrong. The gap between rounds was too short to prepare properly, the marketing campaigns launched too late to matter, and we had misjudged how cautious the market was. For Tier 3 we synced every channel to fire at launch instead of trickling out the news.

What we changed

Rebuilt after feedback, or before anyone asked.

March 2026

We rewrote our own tokenomics

Before PARK listed we looked hard at our own unlock schedule and did not like what we saw. The original model dropped the first $1M of sell pressure into month one, which is roughly how you ruin a launch for everyone holding the token.

Nobody complained about this. We ran the numbers, disliked them, and rebuilt the schedule across twelve weeks. First-month sell pressure falls from $1,243K to $423K, about 3x lighter, and the $1M mark now arrives around week 8 instead of immediately.

Both the old and new figures are projections from our own model, not trading results.

November 2025 to now

Fees people told us were too high

Users said the withdrawal and strategy fees were too much. At the time we explained what we charged and said we were working on the withdrawal side.

Then we changed the model. Today adding funds costs nothing and withdrawing from the wallet carries only the network fee, and what remains on the strategy side — the network component, plus a fixed fee and a small percentage on the two stablecoin DeFi strategies — is disclosed before you deposit, in the fee and limits reference and in the app.
