October delivered the two releases we announced in September — APY Boost and the relaunched referral program — plus a fresh Proof of Reserves snapshot and the EarnPark Protocol's first public outing at TOKEN2049. On the market side it was the first down month since spring, and the Alpha Vault results show what the vaults do when prices fall.

What's new on the platform

APY Boost is live

APY Boost launched on 16 October. Your PARK balance sets a tier automatically, and the tier adds a fixed boost to the base APY of every Maker Core and Liquidity Providing strategy. Locked, vesting and staked PARK all count toward the tier, and the boost stacks with PARK Staking rewards.

The final grid differs from the one we outlined in September. Before launch we recalculated the thresholds so that the program stays attractive for holders and sound for the platform's economics. These are the tiers that went live:

TierPARK balanceMaker CoreLiquidity ProvidingSupport
PARK Select100,000+Up to 10.1%Up to 5.1%Normal
PARK Preferred500,000+Up to 10.2%Up to 5.2%Priority
PARK Elite2,000,000+Up to 10.5%Up to 5.3%Priority
PARK Private10,000,000+CustomCustomDedicated manager

Upgrades apply as soon as your balance crosses a threshold; downgrades follow a 30-day average, so a short dip may not cost you the tier.
Full terms and per-strategy rates are on the APY Boost page. We will monitor how the program performs and may recalculate the tiers if that is what keeps it attractive for holders and sound for the platform.

Referral program: new terms

Starting October 29, partners now receive 10% of every reward payout their referrals get during the referral's first 12 months from registration, paid in USDT, across all strategies except PARK Staking. The payout period in which the 12-month window ends is paid in full.

The invited side gets a welcome bonus: a doubled rate for the first 90 days from the first deposit, up to $100 extra in total. To qualify, your friend has to sign up with your link or code and make a first deposit within 30 days. Your 10% is calculated on their regular rewards, not on the bonus.

Check the numbers for your audience on the Affiliate page — the calculator is there. The full rules are in the Referral Program Terms.

Proof of Reserves and platform statistics updated

Proof of Reserves is where you check that the assets EarnPark holds cover what it owes users. Every snapshot lists the exchange accounts and wallets behind the figure and the resulting reserve ratio, and the page keeps the history of snapshots so you can see the trend, not just the latest number. The October snapshot is up.

Platform Statistics is the other side of the same picture: how many transactions the platform runs, how long clients stay, how fast KYC and support work, where users and assets sit. It’s updated monthly, and the October update is live.

EarnPark Protocol at TOKEN2049

In October we took the EarnPark Protocol — the on-chain version of EarnPark we’re building — to the Startup Stage at TOKEN2049 Singapore. If you weren’t there, the deck is now in the Protocol WhitePaper: EarnPark Protocol at TOKEN2049. It’s the short version of the idea — the WhitePaper itself is where the actual parameters live.

Strategy performance — October 2026

Earn strategies paid out at their stated rates: no rate changed in October. Alpha Vault, the Advanced Yield strategy, is covered separately below.

Results are in each vault's own asset: coins for the coin vaults, USDT for the USDT vault.

October reversed the pattern of the previous two months. Prices fell 7–22%, and five of the six coin vaults finished the month with more coins than they started with. AVAX led at +9.78%, SOL +7.56%, ETH +7.00%. The two exceptions are LINK at −4.18% and the USDT vault at −6.08%.

The mechanism has not changed. With roughly half the portfolio in the asset and half in stablecoins, rebalancing buys coins as prices fall and sells them as prices rise. In a rising month that means selling coins into the rally, which is why August and September showed a coin-denominated minus while prices climbed. In a falling month the same rule buys coins at every lower price. October was that month: more coins, at a lower dollar value.

What the market did. The month opened with a rally that stalled. Bitcoin started near $83,600 and reached about $86,400 on 5 October; ETH touched $2,720, SOL $121 and BNB $795 the same day; AVAX peaked at $11.60 on 7 October. From 7 to 9 October spot Bitcoin ETFs saw about $485 million of net outflows in a day, and in the two days that followed ETH lost 8%, SOL 9%, AVAX 13% and BTC 4.6%. The middle of the month was a staircase down: new lows on 13, 15 and 18–20 October, a bounce on 21–22, another slide from the 23rd. By 27 October ETH was at $2,325, BTC at $80,000, SOL at $101, AVAX under $9. The last step was the steepest. The Fed held rates at 3.75–4.00% on 28 October, Bitcoin slipped under $80,000 the next day, and late on 29 October the exploit at Binance pushed futures liquidations to $1.67 billion in a single day, 86% of them longs. That day BTC lost 4%, ETH 4.5%, SOL 6.7%, BNB and AVAX about 8%, LINK 10%. For the month CoinGlass counted $12.5 billion in forced liquidations, about three quarters of them long positions.

What the vaults did with it. A rally that fades and a decline in steps is the pattern the vaults are built for: they sold a little into the early highs and bought on every step down. The deeper the fall, the more coins the rebalancing added, which is why AVAX, with the largest price drop, delivered the strongest coin result and BTC, with the shallowest, the smallest. The second income line is liquidations. The pool is the counterparty of leveraged traders, and when longs are closed by force, the pool is on the other side of the trade. October had a lot of that.

LINK. The price path alone would have added about 11% in coins. The minus comes from the capital base, not from trading: a vault's monthly result is calculated on its capital for the month, and LINK's base changed mid-month, with an outflow around 5 October and a new inflow around 20 October. It is a one-off effect of the base, not a change in how the vault works.

USDT. The USDT vault holds two pools, BTC and ETH, each half coin and half stablecoin, and reports in dollars. In October the coin half lost value, rebalancing bought more coins on the way down, and fee income did not cover the gap. Same mechanism as the coin vaults, other unit: −6.08%.

More coins, lower dollar value. October shows why both measures matter. In dollars, the five coin vaults that ended in plus lost between 3.6% (BTC) and 13.9% (AVAX), against 7.2% to 21.6% for a plain holder of the same asset: the vault took roughly 50–70% of the fall. LINK, with a coin minus on top of an 18.8% price fall, lost about 22% in dollars, more than a plain holder. The dollar figure is a paper one while the money stays in the pool. Most vaults hold more coins than on 1 October, which is why their dollar value recovers faster than a holder's when the price turns.

Building a resilient portfolio

October is the clearest illustration so far of why the two halves of the strategy list exist. Earn strategies paid the rates on their strategy pages, whatever the market did. Alpha Vault did the opposite of August and September: a coin-denominated plus on a dollar-denominated minus. Taken alone, any one of those months says little. Taken together, they show one mechanism behaving consistently in three different markets.

Risk Labels tell you which half a strategy belongs to before you deposit. Market-Neutral and On-Chain strategies answer to rates and protocols; Cross-Venue and Market-Exposed strategies answer to venues and to market direction. A portfolio that mixes them in proportions you can hold through a weak month is easier to keep than one picked for last month's best number. Check the label, term and withdrawal conditions on each strategy page, and size positions accordingly.
